My suggestion for depression is short and sweet.
It has a lot of implication for 'purpose of my life'.
Many argue that I'm presumptive to know the purpose of life, or they argue, that everyone has their own, or that it's a mystery, or that I am judging people. None of which is true....as we shall see.

I know 'just words' slides are generally boring. Patience...

Depression is the subject, in particular depression in children.

I'll start with the standard medical definition of depression, which is descriptive, will be followed by my 'Novel' approach.

LAYOUT:

The presentation gives a novel definition of depression using a developmental model for determining the purpose of life. The final part is practical application or implications of the theory.

Of course it is just a theory, and comments, including negative ones, are most welcome. As in most things that I do, it's not fully formed and I will appreciate thoughtful, or not, challenges or gaps in the presentation or the model itself.
